Impeachment fever took Washington, DC by storm and it was wonderful to make my Sky News international news debut- twice.
The most important thing I stipulated during both my segments was how important it is for people outside the US to understand that impeachment is a legal process.
It does not mean Trump’s immediate removal from office. Bill Clinton was impeached but not removed from office. Nixon resigned.
Now that the House has impeached Trump, the trial moves to the Senate and what happens there will test the true patriotism of the Republican Party.
