Gender And The General Election

It was such an honor, and so much fun, to take part in this CNN Special Panel o women and politics.

I joined CNN host Fredricka Whitfield, CNN anchor Christine Romans, cultural critic and writer, Michaela Angela Davis and CNN commentator, Kayleigh McEnany to tackle big issues facing women in the upcoming elections from the economy to feminism.

I focused my points on the larger issue America has with women and power, asking why there are not only so few Fortune 500 women CEOs, but why in 2016 is the United States still ranked 75th globally for the number of women in government.

The panel also talked about the Obama’s and feminism, and the role of gender in the general election.

You can imagine what I had to say about Trump and his record on women’s rights. This was a special three part series which you can watch below.
