How does women’s empowerment impact national and global economies? While statements like “invest in women” have become trendy to throw around, what do they actually mean? Zainab Salbi, President of Women for Women International appeared on Bloomberg’s “InBusiness With Margaret Brennan” to answer just that question.
I think their conversation does an excellent job of connecting the dots between empowering women and economic health. I also love that Salbi brings up how it is time to move beyond “micro opportunities” for women, and engage them in “mega economies.”
